Celiac disease is also commonly known as Leaky gut syndrome. It is actually intolerance towards the gluten, a protein in some types of grain. This is not an food allergy it’s actually an autoimmune disease. The celiac disease is actually has the characteristics of abdominal distress, poor digestion and other gastrointestinal complaints.

This disease can be identified through blood test and it is very important for each individual to get tested than doing a self diagnosis. The treatment for the disease insists that the individual consume food items that are gluten free. Gluten is the main focus of leaky gut diet. Gluten is mostly found in food items like wheat, rye, barley, triticale and a few other less popular grains and also candy, chips, fries, soy sauce, tortilla chips and soups, among other unexpected foods. It is necessary for the individuals to check if the product is gluten free before buying them. The Gluten free products will carry the label GF in the outer wrapper.
